GENERAL INQUIRY AND BOOKING CONDITIONS

b) Customers make any bookings and reservations in writing per e-mail or fax
c) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours does not accept any verbal bookings by customers
d) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours reserves the right to manage all bookings to its full discretion
e) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours replies to any inquiry and booking in writing within 24 (twenty-four) hours
f)Customers submit all required passenger details, number of passengers, full passenger names, check-in and check-out dates, number of cabins, cabin categories, passport numbers, visa expiry dates, special requests (e.g. vegetarian meal, honeymooner) etc. to Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours per standard form to the specified deadlines
g) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours reserves the right for a punctual departure of its vessels as per itinerary. Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours further reserves the right to apply an additional charge of US$ 50.00 to customers for any additional pick-up and transfer to the vessels due to delayed passenger arrival caused by customers themselves
2. ROH POLICY
a) At its full discretion, Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours assigns bookings of customers to any of its vessels of the same category and standard. In cases of emergencies or other technical calamities, Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours reserves the right to change a booking of customers to another vessel of the same category and standard, in which case Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours will immediately notify customers
b) In case customers requests a guaranteed booking for a particular vessel, a surcharge of 15% will apply
3. CHILD POLICY
a) The FOC Rate for children under 5 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults
b) The Child Rate for children from 5 to 12 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. In case the child occupies the sole cabin, the rate for adults is applied
c) Only 1 (one) child under 5 years traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per group
d) Acceptance of additional bookings for children are subject to discretion of Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours
4. FOC POLICY
a) 1 (one) Superior Cabin is granted free-of-charge (FOC) for every group occupying more than 10 cabins
b) The FOC Policy does not apply for Charter Cruises
5. FIT POLICIES
5.1.FIT RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
a) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours considers a booking as Fully-Individual-Traveler (FIT), when all persons traveling together in one group are occupying less than 7 (seven) cabinsb) customers submits all passenger details per standard form of Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours at least 3 (three) days prior to check-in of passengers
c) Party A reserves the right to release parts of or full bookings if Party B does not submit passenger details within deadlined) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours is to receive 30% payment by customers right after Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours confirms the cabin reservation.
e) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours is to receive 100% payment by customers at least 10 (ten) days prior to check-in of passengers.
f)Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours reserve the right to cancel the bookings if 100% payment is not made before the deadline (at least 10 days prior to the check-in of passengers).
5.2.FIT CANCELLATION
More than 10 days prior to check-in 50%: deposit is forfeited
From under 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 75% of total rates is forfeited
Less than 72 hours prior to check-in: 100% of total rates is forfeited
No-Show: 100% of total rates is forfeited
Cancellation charges apply for each cancelled number of reserved cabins.
6. GIT AND CHARTER POLICIES
6.1.GIT AND CHARTER RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
a) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours considers a booking as Group-Individual-Traveler (GIT), when all persons traveling together in one group are occupying 7 (seven) or more cabinsb) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours considers a booking as Charter, when the boat will be exclusively utilized by any one party traveling together
c) Charter Cruise Rates are calculated based on full occupancy.
d) Customers submit all passenger details at least 30 (thirty) days prior to check-in of passengers
e) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours reserves the right to release parts or full bookings if customers do not submit passenger details within deadline
f) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours is to receive a 50% deposit by Party B as soon as the reservation is confirmed by Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours in writing
g) Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours is to receive 100% payment by customers at least 60 (sixty) days prior to check-in of passengers
6.2.GIT CANCELLATION
More than 60 days prior to check-in: 50% Deposit amount is forfeited
From 60 to 31 days prior to check-in: Deposit amount is forfeited
From 30 to 15 days prior to check-in: 75% of total rates
Less than 15 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates
Cancellation charges apply for each cancelled number of reserved cabins
7. PAYMENT PROCEDURES (See Terms of Payment)
8. OTHER CONDITIONS
a) Force Majeure: In the event of any cause beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: Acts of God, Natural Disasters, Acts of War or Terrorism, Strike, Orders or Regulations of the Government etc, mechanical breakdown., Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours will bear no responsibility or costs for not providing some or all cruise services as agreed between Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours and customers. Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours will in any case undertake to do all within its power to assist customers in such instances
b) Transfer of Guests: In the event of Force Majeure or other technical calamities, Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours may be unable to provide cruise services for passengers with confirmed reservations, In such case, Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours will attempt to assist customers to its best abilities by either transferring passengers to another vessel of Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours of the same category and standard, or, if this is not possible, to another cruise operator of the similar category and standard. Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours will bear any reasonable transport and other costs incurred on the occasion of transferring to another vessel or cruise operator in Halong Bay. Before transferring, Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours will immediately inform customers. Customers commit to communicate and cooperate well with Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours to the best interest of its passengers. In the event of the before mentioned circumstances, customers further reserve the right to cancel any such bookings without cancellation charges. customers will be responsible for any return transfer of passengers from Halong Bay
c) Taxes and Service Charges: Halong Cruise Junk – Prolands Tours reserves the right to adjust all or some rates for the duration of the present online rates in the event of tax and service charge alterations by the Vietnamese Government
