The Halong Ginger Junk is quite a large wooden junk in Halong Bay. However, the junk nestles only 10 cabins so that cabins of Ginger Junk are very large, ranging from 16 to 18 meter sq, some of them have balcony for sea view. Ginger also saves so much space for other areas on board. Its restaurant is large, capable to serve 40 guests at the same time. Beside, Ginger own a library, and conference room with full range of facilities which can be used to hold many kinds of events. Measuring 38 meters (125 feet) long and 8 meters (23 feet) we, our custom-built wooden junk features three decks, all outfitted with elegant Asian inspired decor. The lower deck is devoted to Passenger Cabins, with sleeping space for 20 people. The Reception, restaurant, Ginger Bar, Gift Shop and Library are all located on the main deck. On the top deck passengers will find the Sunset Bar and a spacious lounge area, perfect for our morning Tai Chi classes, weekend BBQs and sunset cocktails. Guests are welcome to make use of our binoculars, snorkeling equipment, and top-of-the-line Canadian made Seaward kayaks.

While the view is undoubtedly the best feature of each of our ten guest cabins, you will also appreciate the cabins’ tasteful décor and furnishings. To complement the bay’s natural beauty we have outfitted the cabins in natural materials.With its comfortable lounge chairs, fresh breeze and dazzling views, the Sundeck invites guests to lie back and relax. The Sunset Bar is a delightful place to socialize and watch the sun sink behind the bay’s myriad islands.

Halong Ginger 3 day/2 night Itinerary

3 days, 2 nights is a reasonable period of time for cruising Halong Bay with Ginger. Guests will cruise to the highlights of Halong Bay exploring exotic Caves, hidden lagoons enjoying calm Taichi on deck in the morning.

DAY 1 HANOI - HALONG

Welcome on board of Halong Ginger and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth.

After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with Halong Ginger golden sails, go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sun deck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations.

At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board Halong Ginger , enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant.

DAY 2 HALONG BAY - FISHING VILLAGE

After breakfast, transfer to your day – trip boat with private crew and cruise to the bay’s most untouched areas. Enjoy swimming on quiet beaches, visiting water tunnels, fishing villages or kayaking. Lunch served on board by your private chef. Return to the mother boat for the night.

DAY 3 HALONG - HANOI

Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock.
