Red Dragon is a mid-size junk designed in traditional style, launched in March 2008. The Junk is modeled on the local sailing craftsman junk and can really sail. There are 5 guest cabins on deck. Each cabin is nicely decorated with bronze and woodwork together with artistic pictures. All the cabins are equipped with up-to-date furniture; bidirectional air conditioner, wardrobe, and en suite bathroom, etc. all the walls, floor are made of Vietnamese hardwood creating the luxuriant, elegant warmth very suitable for couples who want to celebrate their wedding anniversary or other special events.

This itinerary is designed to allow travelers to non-touristy Halong bay and newly discovered beaches. A great way to see spectacular Halong Bay is on a calm cruise through the seemingly endless bay of islands. Dinner inside caves is available upon request.

DAY 1 HANOI - HALONG

Red Dragon Junk

8:00 pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong bay. You will stopover 15 minutes on the way. At 12:00, the junk crews welcome guests on board at Hon Gai Wharf. Enjoy welcome drink and check in deluxe cabin. Lunch with fresh local seafood while cruising into Ha Long bay. Get to Vong Vieng fishing village after 2 hours. Start exploring Vong Vieng fishing village and the hidden lagoons in Bai Tu Long Bay by kayak or rowing boat. Back to the junk to enjoy relaxing or the sunset. Dinner and overnight on board near Vong Vieng area (optionally near Trinh Nu cave)

DAY 2 HALONG - HANOI

Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the quiet breath- taking beauty of bay’s landscape. From 7:30 to 10:30 Serve a-la-carte (Guests can order any dishes in the menu whenever they want). Around 8.00, start discovering Ba Cua beach where the guests enjoy swimming, sunbathing or relaxing. Back to junk, luggage pull out and check out cabin while cruising back. Around 11.30: disembark. Drive back Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around 16:00
