Red Dragon is a mid-size junk designed in traditional style, launched in March 2008. The Junk is modeled on the local sailing craftsman junk and can really sail. There are 5 guest cabins on deck. Each cabin is nicely decorated with bronze and woodwork together with artistic pictures. All the cabins are equipped with up-to-date furniture; bidirectional air conditioner, wardrobe, and en suite bathroom, etc. all the walls, floor are made of Vietnamese hardwood creating the luxuriant, elegant warmth very suitable for couples who want to celebrate their wedding anniversary or other special events.

Red Dragon traditional junk is aimed to serve guests with off-the-beaten-track cruises but still at a leisurely pace. The program created will let travelers see a non-touristy Halong bay and discover new beaches. It will be perfect to explore spectacular Halong Bay on a relaxing cruise through the seemingly never-ending bay of islands. Lay in the sun, enjoy a selection of the freshest local seafood, dinner inside caves is available upon request.

DAY 1 HANOI - HALONG BAY

Red Dragon Junk

8.00 pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong bay. At 12.00, the crew welcomes you on board at Hon Gai Tourist Wharf. Enjoy welcome drink and check in Red Dragon deluxe cabin. Lunch with fresh local seafood while cruising into Ha Long bay. Get to Vong Vieng after  2 hours. Start discovering a wild white sand beach in Bai Tu Long Bay where you enjoy swimming, sunbathing or relaxing. Back to  the Red Dragon Cruise to relax and admire the sunset. Dinner and overnight on board near Vong Vieng village (or Trinh Nu cave)

DAY 2 BAITULONG BAY KAYAKING

Open air restaurant

Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the quiet breath- taking beauty of bay’s landscape. Breakfast on board at 7.30. Start exploring Vong Vieng fishing village and the hidden lagoons in Bai Tu Long Bay by kayak. Paddle to Ba Cua beach. Free on the beach. Have BBQ on beach. Continue kayaking around Bai Tu Long Bay. Back to junk to enjoy relaxing or the sunset. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 3 HALONG BAY - HANOI

From 7.30 to 10.30, serve a-la-carte. Around 8.00, more time to swim or visit Sung Sot cave. Back to junk, luggage pull out and check out cabin while cruising back. Around 11.30: disembark. Drive back Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around 16.00. End services.
